How is henna made?
Henna is made from the leaves of Lawsonia inermis plant. The leaves are made into a powder that later made into a paste. The paste is made from the henna powder, lemon, sugar, water and essential oil.
How long does henna work
The all natural paste reacts to the melanin of your skin to create a dark stain. The stain typically last 1-2 weeks.
how long does the henna application process take
The application can take anywhere from 10 minutes for regular tattoos to 3 hours for bridal henna.
How long does the henna take to dry?
After application it takes 30 minutes to dry (be careful not to smudge)
Later the henna paste will begin to flake naturally
How does the stain work?
After you let the paste flake off naturally, the stain will be bright orange at first then darken within 24-48 hours.

You'll have this stain for 1-2 weeks.
How can I make my henna stain last longer
To ensure that you get the darkest stain Do not pick at the paste while you have it on, the longer its stays on you the longer stains on you.

Its best to not wet your henna stain while its maturing and keep it moisturized.

When you shower do not over scrub on the area.
